My black-eyed baby didn't get much screen time... Still, it was FREAKING AWESOME!!!

I'm sitting on the sofa watching Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood- Fullmetal Alchemist is my favorite anime in case you didn't know- and I remembered that I haven't updated my blog yet.

As you might have previously read, I'd mentioned getting to go see Fullmetal Alchemist: The Sacred Star of Milos. Well, I saw it! The animation wasn't a beautiful as the previous movie Conqueror of Shamballa but the action scenes were amazing. It was a wonderful ride with a good solid story. As usual, Fullmetal Alchemist never disappoints! I'm a little sad that Roy Mustang (my favorite character) doesn't get as much screen time, but that's okay, at least he got some. I really had a lot of fun and the theatre was packed, which was nice to see. Oh and I managed to see it for FREE! It was dollar movie night at the theatre but since I joined the mailing list, I got a free  movie ticket.

As it turns out Yoda, one of my cats, is getting sick again but I might have already mentioned that. It looks like we might have to take him back to the vet and then he will commence hating everyone again. He really hates taking his meds. On a happier note, I got a really cute picture of him. He looks... annoyed. I love my kitty! I added a little caption.

And I think I am coming down with something. My throat is sore, I'm nauseous, achy all over, and go between hot and cold. I suspect the nauseousness is due to a new medicine I am taking and since said medicine isn't doing diddly squat, I may have to stop taking it. I'll talk to my doctor when I see her next month. I'm taking it easy, drinking tea and water, and getting out to get fresh air.

Teeth chatteringly chilly!

It's freaking cold tonight! Earlier it was snowing but the snow turned to rain, which means trying to get anywhere tomorrow is going to be a bitch. There will be more ice for us to deal with. I don't mind so much but tomorrow night I'm going to see Fullmetal Alchemist: The Sacred Star of Milos and I have drive a bit to get to the theatre. Driver's in Spokane aren't exactly the most safe and frankly, neither are the roads.

My right eye is blurry again. I don't know what the problem seems to be. It starts itching and watering and then, thankfully, the itch goes away but then it's blurry and still waters.

Oh! I went to Hastings tonight (finally had some money of my own) and picked up the new Evanescence album. I'm sure how I feel about it really. I like it but I don't think it's made as much of a mark as the last 3 albums. Some of the songs are really good though and this might just be a case of needing to let it grow on me. I've only listened to it once.

I also picked up a book. I've been asking friends on facebook to make suggestions for new reading material. I had some stipulations though. I don't particularly like 1st person. I put up with it for Katie MacAlister novels because I enjoy her voice and most of her Dragons and Vampires. But I prefer 3rd person as a reader and as a writer. So I asked that none of their suggestions were in 1st person.

I told friends that I like fantasy/scifi, paranormal romance, and historical romance. I'll read other things too, I'm not opposed to trying new things, those are just the genres I prefer. Some one suggested several sets of books I had already read. Another suggested Neil Gaiman stuff. Okay, I haven't read any of his stuff, so I'll give it a shot. But other than that, I didn't anymore suggestions, which is odd since most of my friends are readers. It also makes me sad. When I approached a friend who I know has read a ton of books, is reading all the time, she said mentioned that I didn't like 1st person. Now that really bothers me. It means she either really likes 1st person or there are a lot more out there than I feel comfortable with.

No, there is nothing wrong with 1st person, it just really bothers me.

Anyway, the book I picked up was something I had seen in a bookstore a month or so ago and took a picture of just so I would remember it. It's called 'Blood Rights' by Kristen Painter. It looks really good and it's in 3rd person. ^.^

Well, now I don't know what to write...

I finally get some time to sit down and blog with a clear head and I don't know what to write. Well, I guess I will update everyone.

A friend and her twin sister's apartment blew up this week. Well, technically it was their neighbor's apartments but they ended up having to move out of their apartment in an hour, leaving some things behind. From what I know it had something to do with gas, or so we've been told. Honestly, I think it's a meth thing. For some reason Northern Idaho has a terrible meth problem. But then again I could be wrong. I haven't talked to them since the morning it happened. My GF has, but hasn't really filled me in on anything.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Sacred Star of Milo is actually playing at a theatre near me. I will be going this week! I'm excited for it, I love FMA!

I've been up to some crafty stuff. Not as much as I would like but I'll get some more done in the next week. I've also read some manga, seen a couple of movies. Strawdogs was interesting, pretty heavy. The Help was very good and made me cry a couple of times. I liked the story and the strength of the characters

Other than that, my knees are killing me due to how I've been sitting the last couple of days. My back hasn't been bothering me as much, for which I am thankful.

We finally got some snow! YA!

I had something else I was going to say but I can't remember. Oh well, must not have been too important.
